Computed tomography (CT) technologists operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis. Responsibilities include interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast, preparing equipment, and positioning patients.

Work Schedule: Evenings/nights, 11:00am – 9:30pm or 8:30pm – 7:00am, four 10-hour shifts (Tuesday-Friday), including three day shifts and one night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts and requisitions to ensure correct setup and identify medical concerns.
• Educate patients about procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Maintain the CT area, ensuring quality assurance and proper documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT (R.T.(R))) and in good standing.
• CT certification required within one year of hire (R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of general radiologic technologist experience.
