Job summary

Medical City Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Tech for a seasonal assignment from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027. The role emphasizes high-quality diagnostic CT imaging, patient care and education, and supporting departmental goals.

Required: Basic Life Support; State Registered Radiologic Technician; Vocational School Graduate; ARRT CT or Radiography credential; and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician certification required.
• Graduation from a Vocational School.
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Minimum of 1 year of CT/Radiography experience.
• ARRT-CT certification required for CT imaging.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality diagnostic CT imaging.
• Maintain appropriate patient records.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.

$50 per hour plus differentials

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs and assists with high quality diagnostic CT procedures, focusing on patient care and education. Supports and helps achieve departmental goals. Effectively participates and promotes Excellence Always to include service recovery.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Vocational School Graduate
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• +1 year of experience
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• All seasonal are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
