Job Summary: As a CT Technologist, you'll utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis, following safety procedures and protocols. You will interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities:

• Maneuvering equipment and patients, providing basic patient care, submitting accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges.
• Supporting department initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction.
• Performing technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Maintaining current skills and continuing professional development, including attending meetings, learning from radiologists, and staying informed about CHI Franciscan standards and protocols.
• Performing quality assurance audits and incidental office duties to ensure timely patient records and a highly functioning department.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross-sectional anatomy or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy. One year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required. State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist; CT Registration preferred.
