Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist in Escondido, CA to perform high-quality CT exams and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.

Join a dedicated radiology team delivering value and access, with a sign-on bonus of $10,000. ARRT CT certification and state licensure are required, along with BLS where applicable. A fast-paced environment with strong teamwork awaits.

Qualifications

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Safeguard medications and company property on site.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
