Job summary

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join nights, contributing to high-quality imaging in a multi-disciplinary Radiology team. You will support radiologists and ensure accurate processing and transmission of CT images to PACS.

Expect requirements include ARRT credentials, state licensing, BCLS, and at least one year of acute radiology experience, with knowledge of CT equipment and anatomy vital to success.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/ fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• AR RT credentialing and state license requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT images in collaboration with radiologists.
• Support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
