Required Qualifications

• Education:
• Graduate of a two-year, AMA-accredited and ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Certifications/Licensure:
• ARRT (CT) – Required
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) – Required
• Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical CT experience
• Must have demonstrated trauma and stroke imaging experience

Job Responsibilities

• Review and verify physician orders; clarify discrepancies with radiologists
• Identify patients using two identifiers and provide clear procedural explanations
• Prepare and administer IV contrast media per protocol: document appropriately
• Perform CT scans and assist radiologists/physician assistants with invasive procedures
• Monitor patient conditions, initiate life support measures when necessary
• Evaluate image quality and process post-scan reconstructions as needed
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment in compliance with infection control policies
• Operate CT and associated equipment including contrast injectors, monitoring devices, and imaging software
• Maintain accurate records in the radiology information system and EMR
• Adhere to all radiation safety, MRI safety, and ergonomic protocols
• Report equipment issues promptly
