Job summary

JR Enterprise, LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist at the Syracuse VA Medical Center to perform advanced diagnostic imaging using CT equipment.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, an active state license, 3+ years' experience, and proficiency with contrast administration, PACS, and interventional imaging support. This 6-month base contract with a potential 6-month option starts ASAP.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Active state license (any state accepted).
• Minimum 3 years of recent CT experience.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Experience with advanced CT procedures and contrast studies.
• Experience in portable imaging and interventional radiology support.
• Knowledge of PACS and digital imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including routine and advanced scans.
• Operate spiral and multi-slice CT scanners with 3-D reconstruction imaging.
• Assist with CT-guided drainages, biopsies, and peripheral vascular examinations.
• Perform IVP, GI series, modified barium swallow, barium and air contrast exams.
• Support interoperative portable imaging and portable C-arm procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and hydration protocols.
• Review physician orders and ensure proper imaging techniques are followed.
• Evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Utilize PACS for image storage, retrieval, and documentation.
• Work with 128-slice CT scanners and maintain equipment standards.

Period of Performance: 6 Months Base + One 6-Month Option
Start Date: ASAP (Live Requirement)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $58.00 - $62.81
• Base Rate: $52.91-57.72/hour + $5.09/hour (up to 40 hours/week)
• Lodging Allowance: $116/day
• Car Rental Allowance: $40/day
• Paid Time Off: 80 hours upon completion of 1st year of service
• Paid Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year
• Holidays: 11 Federal Holidays

The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in cross-sectional anatomy, CT imaging protocols, contrast administration, and interventional imaging support.
