Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams, monitor patients, and administer contrast safely in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The role requires state licensure and ARRT CT certification, with 1+ year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. A signing bonus is offered to eligible candidates, and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) required by state regulations.
• BLS certification may be required depending on state.
• Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient’s well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Protect company property and patient information on-site or portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
