Job summary

St. Luke's Hospital in Missouri is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT examinations on patients for diagnostic purposes and coordinate patient flow within the CT suite.

This role reports to the CT/MR Chief Technologist and works under the direction of interpreting physicians, upholding the hospital's mission and values. Education includes graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT (R) licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification (R) in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations on patients for diagnostic purposes and to assist physicians.
• Coordinate patient flow and activities of the CT scanner.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
• Work under the direction of interpreting physicians and in alignment with hospital mission and values.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the CT/MR Chief Technologist and under the direction of the interpreting physician, performs CT examinations on patients for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury and coordinates patient flow and activities of the CT scanner. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

License: Certification in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
