Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist in California to deliver high-quality radiologic exams and monitor patient well-being during procedures. You will guide and support patients through their exams while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.

The successful candidate will hold ARRT certification and have experience in diagnostic imaging. The position offers a competitive pay range of $38.00 – $55.00 per hour along with comprehensive benefits including health coverage and a sign-on bonus.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient’s well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and patient health information.
  • Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements
  • State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
  • BLS certification depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Pay Range

$38.00 – $55.00 per hour
