- Profiles go directly to the unit for consideration
- Certs: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT), Fluoro permit and and a CA Rad tech license.
- Looking for flexible candidate to work varied 10 hr Noc shifts.
- This position will be 8 hours starting at 1500. Every weekend but unit can work with them to explore other possibilities.
- Call is required.--discuss in interview
- The schedule would be every weekend.
- Week 1: Sun,Mon, Tue, Fri Sat all 1400-2230
- Week 2: Sun, Mon, Tue Fri Sat all 1400-2230
- Call would be once a week.
- Wil float between CT and X-Ray
- Equipment: CT-- Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128; X-Rays---Carestream equipment and portables
- In CT we see about 110-130 patients a day
- Scrub color: Teal
Job description:
We’re looking for experienced and professional candidates who can independently perform all procedures with high-quality results. As a CT Tech, you’ll:
Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies Obtain images, produces film records and backups from disk to storage media, and transfers from desk to PACS stations
- Maintains accurate study documentation
- Performs a variety of tasks
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Administers radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases under the direction of a physician.
- Detects and maps radiopharmaceuticals in patients’ bodies.
- Process cardiac function studies.
- Calculates, measures, and records radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of.
- Records and processes results of procedures.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 3 Years of experience
- Candidates must have ARRT(R)(CT) certification
- Florida State License and Venipuncture permit
- BLS certification
