Summary

Conducts procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Patient Identification: Verify patient identity, obtain history, assist patients and family, ensure understanding and safety, and document pregnancy status for women of childbearing age.
• CT Scans: Obtain images per protocols, manipulate images, perform multi-planar and 3D reconstructions, and select appropriate settings.
• Contrast Administration: Administer oral and IV contrast following protocols, establish IV lines, check lab values, and determine contrast eligibility.
• Image Transfer: Use PACS, transmit images to EMR and other systems, verify and segment images, ensure charge accuracy, and verify patient demographics.
• Other Duties: Complete tasks timely, create workflow, assist with challenging procedures, produce quality images, review reports, maintain environment, document incidents, and precept new staff and students.

Education & Certification

• Complete an accredited Radiological Science program or do so within 3 months of application.
• Be registered or eligible with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences; provide diploma if eligible.
• Obtain advanced CT certification within one year of employment and maintain registry and CE requirements.
• Maintain current HCP BLS competency.

Relevant education, training, and experience to perform assigned tasks.

• Salary: $30.73 - $44.18/hour
