UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Part-time CT Radiology Technologist to join the imaging team. You will perform CT scans, ensure infection control, and document results in EMR and PACS, while delivering patient education and maintaining workflow.

The role requires ARRT licensure with CT certification and BLS, with 1+ year radiology/CT experience; High school diploma accepted with preferred Associate/Bachelor’s degrees. Day and evening shifts offered.

Formación

• Associate degree preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma required.
• 1+ years experience in radiology and CT training preferred.
• RT(R) (ARRT) required; ARRt-CT required; BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Practice infection control standards and use PPE and disinfectants.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Educate patients about the exam and complete all exams promptly.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adapt protocols for all ages.

Job Description:

** Part- Time Day/Evening: 8:30 am to 5 pm and/or 2:30 pm to 11 pm

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of CT training program [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT))[Required]
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
