Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist to perform CT exams and ensure infection control standards are followed. You will document in EMR and PACS and educate patients for timely exams.

The role requires ARRT RT(R), BLS, HS diploma or higher, and 1+ year radiology/CT experience; day/evening shifts included.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiology and CT training preferred.

Job Description:

** Part- Time Day/Evening: 8:30 am to 5 pm and/or 2:30 pm to 11 pm Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents. Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time. Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of CT training program [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Preferred]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

• $31.34 - $58.29
