Job summary

Bloomington Hospital is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to work the night shift on weekends, 7pm–7am, in Bloomington. The role involves performing diagnostic CT procedures, positioning patients of all ages, and ensuring high-quality imaging under physician guidance.

Cross-training is available for ARRT/NMTCB eligible applicants. A sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates to welcome you to the team.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Active ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• Advanced certification in CT (through ARRT or NMTCB) within 12 months of hire required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition requires.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures in a timely fashion while caring for patients from pediatric to geriatric.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment and position patients to record the requested diagnostic images.
• Follow physician instructions and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Job description

This is a part-time/Special Weekend Option (night shift) CT Technologist position at Bloomington Hospital. The hours will be 7pm - 7am Saturday and Sunday. Cross-training available for ARRT registered applicants seeking CT registry.

Performs diagnostic procedures, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) or Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Requires advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
