LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, VA seeks a PRN CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under Radiologist supervision. You will maintain equipment, support departmental planning, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT-R Radiography and ARRT-CT certificates, obtain BLS within 90 days, and complete CT certification within a year. PRN hours apply; comprehensive benefits available.

• 6 months experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging Services, the CT Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures with minimal supervision. This role involves maintaining equipment and supplies, contributing to departmental planning, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The CT Technologist provides patient care, foster teamwork, and demonstrates competency in relevant information systems.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
(ARRT-R) Radiography certificate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
(ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography certificate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
