Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient care, accuracy in image acquisition, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

The position is part-time, with day and weekend hours (Saturdays and Sundays 8 A.M. - 8 P.M.). We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within the Medical City network.

Qualifications

• BCLS required within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist and position patients on CT table with care.
• Initiate IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed for diagnostic quality.
• Provide proper post-procedure instructions and ensure patient safety.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application ofthe ionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CTTechnologistprovideshigh-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What You Will Do In This Role

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
