Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist for the Full-Time Night shift (Thursday - Sunday, 9 PM - 7 AM). The role focuses on performing routine and specialized CT imaging with strict adherence to radiation safety and departmental standards.

A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be offered, reflecting the hospital's commitment to attracting top talent. The CT Technologist will position patients, start IVs when needed, and ensure high-quality images for physicians.

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist credential (RT) is required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on the CT table and assist during imaging procedures.
• Start IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare the room between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application ofthe ionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CTTechnologistprovideshigh-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What You Will Do In This Role

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
