Job summary

Medical City Arlington seeks a CT Technologist to join the Imaging Department and support CT imaging across neurological, oncologic, and cardiac services, with emphasis on patient experience and safety.

You will work with department leadership to achieve daily goals, maintain productivity, and communicate clearly with patients and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality.
• Collaborate with imaging leadership to develop and implement department goals.
• Prioritize workload and meet daily productivity and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for the customer needs of the CT area of the Imaging Department. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment and policies - Hospital and Department - that are necessary for job performance, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services. Collaborates with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives. Maintains and achieves daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.
