Performs computerized tomographic radiographs following established protocols, reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, and prioritizing procedures. Maintains necessary credentials and supports patient care by educating patients, ensuring safety, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Creates a compassionate environment, advocates for patient concerns, and promotes healing. Supports new employee onboarding, stays current with technology and protocols, and contributes to quality improvement efforts. Uses critical thinking and evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality imaging services and ensure safety standards are met.
ARRT certification, NM Computed Tomography License (or provisional), and current BLS certification are required. Ability to perform general radiology and lab testing as needed.
