Performs computerized tomographic radiographs, ensuring clinical appropriateness, safety, and quality standards.
Utilizes critical thinking and clinical reasoning to manage imaging procedures, educates patients, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Creates a compassionate environment, assesses safety issues, and maintains equipment and credentialing. Supports patient learning, mentors colleagues, and stays current with protocols. Ensures proper safety checks, documentation, and adherence to evidence-based practices. Communicates effectively to escalating concerns and promotes a supportive team environment. Contributes to quality improvement and organizational goals.
ARRT certification, NM CT license or provisional license, current BLS, and knowledge of imaging protocols. Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, patient care, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
