Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image neonatal through geriatric patients and demonstrate proficiency in advanced CT imaging, including cardiac and vascular studies.

Required AMA/JRCERT-accepted radiologic training, 1 year CT experience, ARRT CT and BCLS certifications upon hire. Schedule: Thu-Sat, 7A-7:30P, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with standards under supervision of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups from neonatal to geriatric and handle advanced CT imaging.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
