St Anthony North Hospital seeks an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and exams while delivering compassionate patient care in our medical imaging department.

You will lead a team of associate technologists, uphold ALARA standards, and communicate clearly with patients and staff. This on-site role in Thornton, Colorado offers a competitive hourly pay and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARRT/State CT registry or equivalent CT training required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety for patients and staff.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety to minimize exposure.
• Produces high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patients and/or families regarding the procedure and addresses needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports any unusual occurrences.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

As our CT Tech, you will perform high-quality CT images and exams, providing essential patient care within the medical imaging department while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Every day you will follow standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and assure current standards of practice for the unit.
To be successful in this role, you will possess expert technical skills in CT imaging, a strong commitment to patient safety and radiation practice, excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team leadership, and the ability to serve as a valuable clinical resource.

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.


• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to \"as low as reasonably achievable\" (ALARA).


• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.


• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.


• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.


• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

We are offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus in addition to up to $8,000 in relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Position will be a renewable 6 month contract that will be eligible for a $10/hr weekend option instead of the normal weekend differential.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma or GED


• ARRT (CT), ARRT (T), ARRT (N) or CNMT registry or State CT registry ARRT R with CT training.


• BLS, American Heart Association


• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site


• Two (2) years of related experience

Preferred

• Associate Degree

Pay Range

$36.59 - $60.38 /hour
