St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT images and exams while upholding safety and compassionate patient care in the medical imaging department.

You will lead and support associate technologists, serve as a clinical resource, and ensure best practices for radiation safety and PATIENT care compliance. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARRT CT, ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or ARRT (R) with CT training.
• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site.
• BLS, American Heart Association.
• One year of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with emphasis on safety for patient and staff.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Produces high-quality images in a timely, accurate manner.
• Provides patient/family with information and instructions for procedures.
• Observes patient and equipment during procedures and documents any unusual occurrences.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Tech, you will perform high-quality CT images and exams, providing essential patient care within the medical imaging department while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.

Every day you will follow standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and assure current standards of practice for the unit.

To be successful in this role, you will possess expert technical skills in CT imaging, a strong commitment to patient safety and radiation practice, excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team leadership, and the ability to serve as a valuable clinical resource.

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

We are offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus in addition to up to $8,000 in relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Pay Range

$36.59 - $60.38 /hour
