Piedmont Healthcare is looking for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join the team at Piedmont Heart - Newnan. This PRN position involves utilizing ionizing radiation to produce images that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualified candidates must have an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program background along with 6 months of Radiological Technologist experience. Essential certifications include ARRT registration and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Specialized use of ionizing radiation for cross-sectional imaging.
• Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations.
• Provide patient care to all age groups.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
