UF Health in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform computerized imaging and ensure equipment readiness. You will assist patients and physicians, monitor safety, and follow protocols for CT, x-ray, and MRI when applicable.

Minimum education is a high school diploma; an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. BLS certification required; ARRT CT certification or equivalent per state licensure; experience in diagnostic imaging is desirable.

Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served::All age groups
• Required Education::High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred Education::Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Required Licensure/Certifications::BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• A minimum of one of the following license qualification/certification combinations: License qualification/certification combination 1:FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist AssistantCertification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography. • Required Experience::Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program.
• Preferred Experience::One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience.
• Necessary Skills::Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations.
