Job summary

Miami Valley North seeks a CT Scan technologist to independently perform CT procedures using proper techniques and contrast administration. You will coordinate patient flow and CT scanner operations while ensuring equipment remains in good working condition.

The role may involve other imaging modalities at different facilities based on department needs and may include on-call responsibilities. Required ARRT RT (R) registry and ODH licensure, Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (Allied Health).
• ARRT RT (R) registry required and ODH licensure required.
• ARRT CT registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs CT procedures with proper techniques and contrast administration.
• Coordinates patient flow and CT scanner activities.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition; may perform other imaging modalities as needed.
• May have on-call responsibilities and work at other facilities as needed.

Shift: Support/PRN

Facility: Miami Valley North

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
