Job summary

Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to perform CT procedures, manage imaging systems and ensure accurate exam documentation. The role requires handling diverse patient populations from neonates to the elderly, while maintaining strict safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates competency in CT, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors.
• Knowledge of equipment used in CT such as power injectors and biopsy devices.
• Able to provide care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Follows safety policies and recognizes crisis situations to prevent complications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CT room cleanliness and inventory; disinfect and restock supplies.
• Operate Radiology Imaging System and ensure proper exam completion and charge capture.
• Work independently and as part of a team; interact professionally with staff, patients and vendors.
• Report unsafe conditions and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Support dose monitoring and safety practices within Radiology Department.
