Job summary

Medical City Decatur is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform quality diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety and room readiness. You will prepare rooms, equipment, and medications, and adhere to radiation safety protocols across all age groups.

The role requires ARRT CT or Radiography credentials, AMA-approved radiology education, and Texas MRT licensure, with a preference for 1 year CT experience.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT-CT or ARRTR license required.
• MRT State Licensure (TMB) in Texas.
• If associate does not hold ARRT(CT), obtain within 6 months of hire or cross-training completion.
• One year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes images.
• Prepares CT room, equipment, supplies and medication for procedures.
• Practices radiation safety and ensures staff follow precautions.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors.
