Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality CT and radiography services. You will verify orders, position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout imaging exams.

The role requires an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT licensure in radiography and CT, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and ensure safety.
• Verify proper clinician order for procedures.
• Acquire and evaluate CT/radiographic images for quality.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleanliness.
• Explain procedures to patients using AIDET principles.
• Prepare patient and position for exams; manage pre/post care.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust exposure factors for minimal dose.
• Transmit studies to PACS and document accurately.
• Collaborate with radiology team and physicians as needed.
