Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Baker City, Oregon, seeks a part-time PRN CT Tech to perform CT procedures on patients of all ages, following approved protocols and radiation safety guidelines. You will evaluate exam requests, schedule and collect histories, and communicate effectively with patients.

Travel between SAHS sites may be required. Certification requirements include ARRT CT registration and BLS at hire, with an Oregon OBMI CT license required prior to hire if Oregon is the primary

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration is required to work as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS/PALS as defined in the SAHS Crosswalk.
• Oregon OBMI CT license is required prior to hire if Oregon is the primary work state.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures on patients of all ages following approved protocols and radiation safety measures.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and supplies related to high-quality exams.
• Evaluates exam requests for appropriateness to assist radiologists.
• Schedules and collects patient history and communicates with patients per their age and capacity.
• May travel between SAHS sites.
