Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• Registered by the ARRT (R).
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety.
• Maintain radiation safety and dose reduction practices.
• Educate patients about radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Verify accuracy of ordered exams and comply with workflow guidelines.
• Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation.
