Job summary

UKHS St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Outpatient Imaging Center CT Tech to perform diagnostic CT imaging and ensure patient safety in our busy radiology department.

Responsibilities include educating patients on procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding radiation safety and dose-reduction practices per policy. ARRT(R) registered and KS license required; BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• Registered by the ARRT (R).
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
• Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
• Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
• Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
