Job summary

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand radiological and medical terms and to explain procedures to patients and staff.
• Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Prior general radiology experience; ARRT, CRT and CPR certification; Arizona CTCT license.

Responsibilities

• Assists in evaluation of new procedures and equipment.
• Performs proper billing/charging with computer systems.
• Operates CT equipment and follows start‑up, calibration, QC, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Maintains communication with radiologists and patients; ensures proper patient positioning and safety.
• Verifies history, consent form and labs before administering IV contrast; follows PACS/RIS protocols.
