Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow documentation, consents, medical necessity, and coding/charging.
• Actively pursue continued learning and new CT procedures.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.

Education

Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school
