Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License; ARRT Radiography and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and report any concerns.
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards; document accordingly.
