Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including assistance with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust imaging techniques for diagnostic quality.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report concerns.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain infection prevention standards.
