Job summary

UAB Medical West Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Tech for full-time night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., 7 on/7 off) to perform diagnostic CT procedures and support patient safety and comfort. The role requires graduation from a Radiography program and ARRT certification, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Tech to join our Imaging Services team on a full-time basis. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Your expertise in CT will be essential in providing accurate and timely results to aid in patient treatment and recovery.

Shift:

• 8:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (7on/7off)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from a Radiography program
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of CT procedures and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registry in CT
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Experience with advanced imaging techniques, such as CT angiography
