Pay Range $33.05 - $49.60 Join Our Imaging Team at West Allis as a CT Technologist We’re growing our Imaging team at West Allis and are looking for a full‑time CT Tech who wants to work with advanced technology in a fast‑paced yet supportive environment.
Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) needs to be obtained within 18 months, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.
Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
No experience required.
Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and basic radiation safety. Competent in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility). Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and other staff members. Ability to work independently. Intermediate computer skills.
Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g.DNV, CARF or others).
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday.
Must have clear speech, vision and hearing. May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids; therefore, personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
