1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals is seeking a Full-Time Overnight CT Tech I responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing procedures on patients. This position involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and managing resources efficiently.
The ideal candidate holds a Technical Degree in Radiology and has basic knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures. Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is required, along with BLS knowledge. The role demands effective communication with internal and external clients and may involve physical demands such as lifting and standing.
Full‑Time Overnight – Weekends – Saturday, Sunday 6:30pm to 7:00am and Monday 9:00pm to 5:00am. The CT Tech I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures on a specified patient population.
No supervisory or lead responsibilities are assigned to this position, except that the incumbent may occasionally demonstrate job responsibilities to other Associates and observe/instruct student technologists.
Climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, repetitive motion, and occasional lifting up to 50lb. Good balance and coordination. Close visual acuity is required, including color, depth perception, and field of vision for assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Must react quickly to emergency situations.
