Job summary

System Support is seeking a CT Tech to perform computed tomography procedures at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Allied Health and necessary certifications, including CPR and ARRT RT(R). This position requires coordination of patient flow and maintenance of CT equipment.

This is a day shift position, covering weekends, and may involve on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required, major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required.
• ARRT RT(R) registry required.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques.

Position Summary

General Summary/Responsibilities:

• Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
• Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
• Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs.
• May have on call responsibilities.
