Job summary

PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, WA, seeks an experienced CT Technologist for a 0.90 FTE weekend role (Fri–Sun, 12:00 PM–12:30 AM). Compensation ranges from $46.06–$69.50/hr with potential hiring bonus and relocation assistance. No call, stable schedule, and four days off weekly.

You will perform a variety of CT exams, work with radiologists and imaging staff, and contribute to patient-centered care with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Hold or obtain Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or CT preferred; CT within 1 year.
• At least 1 year CT experience preferred; venipuncture experience.
• BLS certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams safely and accurately.
• Review patient history and prior imaging.
• Adapt imaging protocols based on patient needs.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Educate and reassure patients during exams.

What Your Days Will Look Like

You’ll:

• Perform CT exams safely and accurately
• Review patient history and prior imaging
• Select and adapt imaging protocols based on patient needs
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Educate and reassure patients throughout the exam process
• Start IVs and perform venipuncture as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and providers
• Support interventional CT procedures when assigned
• Help mentor students and colleagues when opportunities arise

What You’ll Need

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification upon hire
• ARRT certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Computed Tomography
• CT certification strongly preferred at hire and required within one year
• At least one year of CT experience strongly preferred
• Venipuncture experience
• Experience with EPIC RIS, FUJI, or IntelliSpace PACS is a plus.

Working Conditions: This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 30 lbs. occasionally. May involve patient handling, exposure to biohazards and airborne particles, and requires the ability to communicate effectively with normal vision and hearing (with reasonable accommodations).
