Job summary

Piedmont in Conyers is seeking a CT Technologist who specializes in producing diagnostic images for patient care. Responsibilities include performing CT examinations and ensuring adherence to safety standards under the guidance of a Radiologist.

The ideal candidate will hold a JRCERT-approved degree, ARRT certification, and BLS certification. Experience in a clinical environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images that help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist, providing patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of a JRCERT‑approved Radiologic Technology program.

Minimum Experience: Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

Minimum Licensure/Certification by Law: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

Preferred: 6 months of experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Additional Qualifications: BLS certified.
