Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
- ARRT Radiographer Registration (R.T.) required.
- CT Certification and Arizona license required.
- At least 1 year of CT experience preferred.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiologic imaging procedures for patients of all ages.
- Prepares and positions patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performs diagnostic CT examinations accurately and timely.
- Assists with administration of contrast media per policy.
- Obtains high quality CT images and uses software protocols.
- Ensures quality assurance measures are met.
- Communicates with radiologists regarding findings.
- Ensures orders match diagnoses for proper reimbursement.
- Delivers age- and culture-appropriate care.
