Qualifications

  • Graduate of a school of radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in CT (R.T.(CT)(ARRT)).
  • Venipuncture certification or course completion.
  • BART or BLS at time of hire with plan to obtain within six months.

Depending on experience, license and certifications of the selected candidate, this position will be hired as a CT Tech or Sr CT Tech level.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of a school of radiologic Technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT‑R).
  • Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)).
  • Venipuncture certification OR Venipuncture Course Completion.
  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Less than three (3) years of recent experience in a similar role and setting or a new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (CT Tech) OR more than three (3) years of experience (Sr. CT Tech).
  • Thorough knowledge of radiological computerized systems and applications.
  • Thorough understanding of various radiological systems to include PACS and RIS.
  • Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT‑F).
  • Two (2) years of CT experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Prior experience in a Level I trauma center environment.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Placement within the salary range is determined by licensed experience, internal equity, relevant qualifications, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). CT Tech salary range $56.86 - $65.34. CT Tech Sr salary range $61.03 - $75.84.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $134,196 - $166,956 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $64.27 - $79.96

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
