CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and provide compassionate patient care within the imaging department.

You will follow ALARA practices, deliver high-quality images, instruct patients, and support team leaders by serving as a clinical resource with strong communication skills.

Required ARRT CT (or equivalent) certification, BLS, state license as applicable, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • ARRT CT (or equivalent) certification, or ARRT with CT training.
  • State Radiology Tech license where applicable.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • One year of related CT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic CT imaging procedures with emphasis on safety.
  • Implements ALARA principles to minimize exposure for patient and staff.
  • Produces high-quality images in a timely and complete manner.
  • Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure.
  • Monitors patient and equipment, reports unusual occurrences and documents condition.
  • Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Tech, you will perform high-quality CT images and exams, providing essential patient care within the medical imaging department while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.

Every day you will follow standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and assure current standards of practice for the unit.

To be successful in this role, you will possess expert technical skills in CT imaging, a strong commitment to patient safety and radiation practice, excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team leadership, and the ability to serve as a valuable clinical resource.

  • Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.
  • Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to 'as low as reasonably achievable' (ALARA).
  • Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
  • Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
  • Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
Job Requirements
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ARRT (CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or ARRT (R) with CT training
  • State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • One (1) year of related experience
Preferred
  • Associate's Degree, is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
