Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a CT Tech in Las Vegas, NV to perform diagnostic imaging across CT, mammography and special procedures. The role requires working with specialized CT equipment and adhering to QA/QC standards in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of trauma CT experience, a Nevada radiology license, and ARRT CT certification. This full-time position offers permanent employment in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Performs diagnostic exams on patients in the specialized areas of mammography, computed tomography, and special procedures. Uses specialized equipment, techniques and/or computer programs to perform the work.

Procedures and protocols associated with area of assignment; specialized equipment used in area of assignment; radiography protocols and procedures; quality assurance and quality control measures; personal computers; anatomy and physiology of the human body; contrast application and contrast reaction symptoms; venipuncture techniques; department and hospital safety practices and principles; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Previous 3 (three) years experience in performing CT exams in a Trauma setting.
• Valid State of Nevada License in Radiology.
• Valid American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) Registered in Computed Tomography.
