Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) in Fayetteville, AR seeks a CT Technologist to assist the Lead CT Tech in diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring high image quality and patient comfort. You will start IVs, administer IV contrast as directed, and support PACS routing and patient flow.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT certification, and a plan to obtain CT certification within one year. Two years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program.
• ARRT Certification.
• Must set a reasonable goal for achieving CT certification by the ARRT within 1 year.
• 2 years’ experience, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures as required: achieve a high level of image quality
• Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum
• Obtain patient history as needed
• Assist helping to put the patient at ease
• Start IVs and administer IV contrast as directed by protocol.

Overview

The CT Technologist works under minimal supervision to assist the Lead CT Ttech in performing diagnostic CT procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; assists with PACS and routes patients and/or their images to the appropriate nurse's station.

Clinic hours: Mon - Fri 7:30a – 5:30p. This Full time position will work 36 hours/week, with one day off each week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic procedures as required: achieve a high level of image quality
• Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum
• Obtain patient history as needed
• Assist helping to put the patient at ease
• Start IVs and administer IV contrast as directed by protocol.

• A.R.R.T. Certification
• Must set a reasonable goal for achieving CT certification by the A.R.R.T within 1 year
• 2 years’ experience, preferred but not required
