Job summary

CT Assist is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens assignments in North Dakota. Start as soon as credentialed; assignments typically span 6+ months with weeknight and weekend call on a 1:2 schedule.

EVH and first assist skills are required, with case mix including CABG, valve replacement/repair, TAVR, and ECMO; no transplant, thoracic, or vascular cases. Epic EMR is used.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cardiothoracic/CVICU or equivalent case volume.
• Certified by The Joint Commission is noted in the posting.
• Experience with EVH and first assist procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic PA/NP coverage as locum tenens.
• Perform EVH and first assist tasks; assist in CABG, valve replacement/repair, TAVR, ECMO.
• Weekly call on a 1:2 schedule, weeknights and weekends, start as credentialed.
