Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to support the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) post-operative CTS patients. The APP will focus on peri-operative CTS care, aiming to optimize physical and psychological well-being while reducing complications and readmissions.

The role includes a rotating schedule with a goal of 4, 10s shifts, weekend/call coverage, and seamless integration with Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• Two years of advanced practice experience in an acute care clinical setting preferred.
• Cardiothoracic surgery background and commitment to high-quality care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative CTS IMCU care for CTS patients.
• Participate in quality care initiatives and outcomes evaluation.
